67 Minutes – What will you do on 18th July?

Nelson Mandela’s International Day focuses our attention on each other – and our responsibilities to live Madiba’s legacy forever through the work we all do. Every year, on Mandela Day, people around the world are asked by the Nelson Mandela Foundation to spare one minute for every year of Mr. Mandela’s public service – amounting to 67 minutes of their time to help others.

No matter how small the action #MandelaDay is about changing the world for the better.

We have all experience situations where even a small kindness can make a difference. The smile of a grateful stranger who was lost, but who you guided in the right direction or the time you slowed down to let a driver out of a side street, only to see them repeat the courtesy a few minutes later. A ripple of good feeling, flowing forward from one small, positive action.

In an entire year, the Nelson Mandela Foundation is only asking for 67 minutes. So you have to ask yourself:  How will you serve?  #Time2Serve

If you’ve not visited MandelaDay.com, then we recommend you take a minute out of your day to do so.

Its hard to picture Mandela without one of his famous shirts, so we’d like you to take one minute to vote for your favourite. We’ve selected these ‘Madiba shirts’ (below) with strong explosions of  bright colours, detailed patterns and geometric prints. Let us know which one makes you smile the most!
