Africa Fashion wishes you a very Happy New Year

On this New Year’s Eve, we would like to say a special thank you to all our friends, followers & readers. Your support, no matter how big or small is much appreciated. Every time you like, comment or share one of our stories it is a daily incentive to push on with our mission.

In 2015 we were inspired to create a new kind of site – one with a powerful social enterprise principal at its core. We wanted to bring stories about African fashion to the world, but we wanted the stories to be told by writers of African origin whenever possible.

Our not-for-profit venture has a two-pronged mission:-

  • Deliver high quality journalism, publishing positive stories celebrating the diversity of African culture, individual creatives, businesses & entrepreneurs from across the Diaspora
  • Help to develop and provide a platform for young talented journalist in the making looking for opportunities to publish their work

Even though we’re a new digital publication – already more than 50% of our readers are returning visitors who love the content and are coming back for more!

To the thousands that have already followed us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram – we appreciate your support and we encourage your friends to join us as well.

Right now, we’re working on plans to bring a whole host of fresh stories, engaging features and new ways for you to be able to interact with Africa Fashion.

Our desire to increase interaction with our readers begins with a big ‘SHOUT OUT!’ to writers who want to contribute articles to Africa Fashion – we want to hear from you

Maybe you’ve always fancied reaching an audience of thousands across the globe – ready to share your opinions on African fashion, music, art or culture.

Maybe you are an experienced content writer looking for new opportunities to pitch/publish your work.

If that’s true, then we’d love to hear from you. You can email our editorial team by clicking here.

Let us know if you want to get involved with Africa Fashion by contributing stories. But most of all, we wish all of you a very Happy New Year and encourage you to keep striving for your dreams in 2017!
